Throughout the “land of the free” and its glacial—and then all-at-once—decline, THE LAST PICTURE SHOW (1971) and THE GRAPES OF WRATH (1940) are avenues to navigate timescapes across a relentless multi-decade blight in reverse, repositioned as testimony for eras of collective struggle come-and-gone. Framed within a quasi-psychographic survey, Marlow will guide the attendees through endings (and new beginnings) beyond the dead zones of imagination.
